We specialize in providing complete building code plan review services. This includes architectural, life safety, means of egress, accessibility, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and energy disciplines. Our team works tirelessly with the jurisdiction and the applicant to ensure a successful project.
Our team of fire protection engineers and certified fire plans examiners are adept at performing detailed fire and life safety reviews as well as reviews of fire protection systems (i.e., fire sprinklers, fire alarms, ERCES, etc.). We work hard to customize our reviews to meet the needs of the local fire department/district.
Our staff members are considered experts in the codes and have provided code training courses to local ICC Chapters, Fire Marshal Associations, design professional groups, and contractor organizations across the United States. We are also adept at providing virtual webinars and provide numerous recorded trainings using a proprietary Learning Management Software (LMS). We are happy to create customized training on any building safety subject to meet your group’s specific needs.
We have worked directly for, or as consultants to, nearly two hundred jurisdictions throughout the United States. Throughout our careers we have helped to establish several new building departments in addition to assisting numerous existing departments to improve their existing processes. Building department support services could include detailed assessments of department processes, assistance with local code adoptions and the creation of ordinances, detailed permit and plan review fee studies, assistance with the selection and implementation of permitting software solutions, recommendations for streamlining of permit processes, the development of building department staff, and more. We would love to discuss with your organization how we could assist you.
